Dear Friends,
As we look forward to spring it’s that time of year when we start to dream about what the rest of the year holds. Over the past 6 ½ years, you’ve often heard us say “one day we’ll need a bigger boat.” We love our intimate side street tasting room, but sometimes wish we could do more – bigger and more diverse events, for one thing. As we look forward it now feels like the right time to propel 1850 Wine Cellars into a future where that’s possible.
The Future
With that in mind, we’ve decided this spring we will be moving 1850 Wine Cellars to El Dorado County’s Apple Hill, where we see the opportunity to evolve for years to come. Our last day in Sutter Creek will be Sunday, April 30th. Shortly thereafter we will reopen next door to our sister winery, Myka Estates, in Apple Hill. We hope you’ll visit us there and make many new and wonderful memories, where you’ll be able to enjoy two tasting room experiences in one location!
Over the next six weeks we invite you to visit us in Sutter Creek – to reminisce, to make new memories, and to talk with us about what our move means. We’ll be clearing out our cellar to make the move easier, and you should take advantage of this great pricing to help stock your own cellar. If you have wine club orders you haven’t picked up we encourage you to come get them and enjoy a complimentary bowl of Chef Lisa’s soup when you do.
Thank you for your support of 1850 Wine Cellars during this change, we appreciate you and can’t wait to share our new space with you!
Sincerely,
The Team at 1850 Wine Cellars
